Life Circle Health Services, a Hyderabad-based home nursing and professional care giving service provider, has raised an investment of $150,000 from European healthcare services firm GROUPE SOS.

The new lease of funds will be used to deepen Life Circle's services in the Hyderabad market as well as expand to the Delhi National Capital Region, according to the company management.

GROUPE SOS will also be sharing technical know-how and international best practices with Life Circle. The home nursing start-up is being incubated at T-HUB, a start-up incubation center promoted under public private participation.

Founder and CEO of Life Circle, Anant Kumar, informed that they had provided more than 150,000 hours of professional care giving services so far. "We differentiate our services by providing trained and verified caregivers, creating a seamless continuum of care, providing work-related training and physiological counselling to care givers to manage burnouts and providing flexible caregiver engagement to seniors," he said.

According to T-HUB founder and COO Srinivas Kollipara, there was a pressing need for professional home nursing and care giving services as almost 36% of urban seniors above the age of 60 are immobile and this number reaches 60% by the time they are over 70.
