Housing.com appoints Snehil Buxy as chief product officer

Buxy was a part of the product development team along with playing a key role in the front-end team

Housing.com announced that it had appointed Snehil Buxy as its new chief product officer. Buxy, one of the few remaining co-founders of the real estate startup, was given the much-coveted position.

Buxy was part of the product development team along with playing a "key role" in the front end team.

"Being one of the co-founders, Buxy allows us to go back to our roots. I am confident he will play a key role in the future success of Housing," said Jason Kothari, CEO, Housing.com

Kothari was appointed as CEO in November after a shakeup, when the startup reportedly fired over 600 people due to a high burn rate.

 

In a recent interview with the media, Rahul Yadav, had claimed that he too had eyed the position of chief product officer before his very public fall out with the investors.
