"Developers from both Intech and Halden have been working on developing custom ERP-based mobile applications which we intend to market within our existing clients in Gujarat. Later, we are also looking at marketing the mobile add-ons as part of the Microsoft ERP package to our overseas clients as well," said Anuja Parikh, director of Intech Systems Pvt. Ltd.
A channel partner for Microsoft's ERP solutions, Intech provides ERP implementation services in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AX and SharePoint to its clients in Gujarat in sectors like capital equipment manufacturing, foundry, fabrication, sanitaryware and chemical.
"We are also looking to tap the food and beverage industry for customised ERP solutions," said Ashok Mehta, Chairman & Managing Director, Intech Systems Pvt. Ltd.
An over Rs 4 crore company, Intech estimates a 40 per cent growth in its turnover thanks to its new joint venture as well as customised services such as mobile add-ons.
According to Mehta, while Intech has around 25 clients in Gujarat, it is looking to add 5-6 clients every year from the state, apart from 15 more such clients from the western market through the Amerdian joint venture company.
"We already have order books worth Rs 4 crore. Traditionally, we focus on medium sized companies with a turnover of Rs 50 crore since small companies would not find the Microsoft ERP solutions provided by us affordable," said Mehta.
The total cost of ownership (TCO) for a client comes to around Rs 50 lakhs for a no-frills ERP by Intech, wherein development and implementation services cost Rs 25 lakhs each.
Meanwhile, Intech has been recently awarded a Microsoft Gold accreditation for ERP solutions.
Talking about the certification, Samik Roy, Director and Business Head of Microsoft Dynamics ERP said, "Globally only one per cent of Microsoft's partners get the coveted Gold certification. Intech's recognition is a result of clearance on several such rigorous parameters and a consistent demand to serve the business operators of Gujarat."
