City-based bullion dealers' and jewellers' body Indian Bullion and Jewellers Assoction (IBJA) has appointed Mukesh Mehta as its national president replacing Mohit Kamboj, the Bharatiya Janata Party leader.
Mehta was on the board of IBJA before his appointment as national president, IBJA said in a statement.
Mehta, a director of Mark Bangles Pvt Ltd, has already been on the board for the last four years. He's considered to be very enthusiastic, aggressive and passionate about the association. He has also served on various committees in the last four years.
IBJA is a 97-year-old apex organisation for bullion dealers and jewellers and any change at the top leadership is microscopically viewed by it's members and other allied associations.
