Joginder Singh to be new MD of Ford India

Current President and MD Michael Boneham to retire after 27 years with Ford Motor Company

Ford India's president and managing director, Michael Boneham will retire and Joginder Singh will succeed him effective December 1, 2012.

Michael Boneham has elected to retire after a successful career of 27 years with Ford Motor Company.

Singh is currently president & managing director, Ford Business Services Center, Ford Motor Company, responsible for Ford’s Global Business Services operations headquartered in Chennai.

Singh will take over Boneham’s responsibilities of managing and growing the integrated manufacturing operation of Ford India. He will also lead the charge of product programs of bringing in eight new products by mid-decade and oversee the successful implementation of Ford’s expansion plans in India, through its operations in Chennai and its second upcoming facility in Sanand, Gujarat.
 
David Dubensky will succeed Joginder Singh and will be responsible for Ford’s Global Business Services operations.
