Jyothy Laboratories Sept quarter Net up 22% to Rs 15 cr

Company had posted a net profit of Rs 12.48 crore in the same period of previous fiscal

FMCG firm Jyothy Laboratories Ltd today said its net profit rose by 22.35% to Rs 15.27 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company, which sells fabric wash brand 'Ujala', had posted a net profit of Rs 12.48 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Jyothy Laboratories said in a filing to the BSE.

Net sales of the company rose to Rs 177.82 crore for the September quarter against Rs 154.64 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of Jyothy Laboratories were trading at Rs 180.10 on the BSE in late afternoon trade, up 1.84% from its previous close.
