City-based power plant developer KSK Energy Ventures Limited's promoter group company -- KSK Power Ventur plc -- has been admitted to a secondary listing on the official list of the UK Listing Authority to trade on the main market of the London Stock Exchange for listed securities.
Simultaneously, trading in the company's ordinary shares on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) has ceased, the company said in a filing to the BSE on Thursday.
"This movement from AIM to the main market enables potential towards a wider investor base as well as sufficient capability of future fund raise by KSK plc from a larger pool of potential investors to support the business of KSK group," it said.
KSK Energy on Wednesday commenced power generation from its 135-Mw lignite-fired project in Rajasthan. With this addition, the installed capacity of KSK will increase from 144 Mw to 279 Mw.
The scrip of KSK Energy is currently trading at Rs 191 on the BSE, up 3.69 per cent over the previous close of Rs 184.20.
