Leyland Pouches $46m Iraq Order

Net profit up 30% to Rs 120 crore during 2002-03
Ashok Leyland has received a $46 million order from the United Nations to supply trucks to Iraq under the oil-for-food programme.
R Seshasayee, the managing director of the company, said though the company bagged the order for 3,322 trucks, the schedule for supplies was unknown.
