LML workers deny strike

| Workers of LML have denied that they have ever been on strike. The firm imposed a lockout from March 7. Workers' representatives told Business Standard they were verbally told not to come to work on February 23. And therefore no worker turned up. |
| LML workmen do not have a viable union since the early nineties, and none of the major unions have even made a serious attempt to enter the field. Nor have various levels of the government shown enough interest in the matter. |
