Dabur India has roped in Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit as brand ambassador for Dabur Chyawanprash. The company claims to have a 65% share in the estimated Rs 400-crore Chyawanprash market in India.
Madhuri will be the only brand endorser in the Chyawanprash product segment, as Emami and Baidyanath, the two competitors of Dabur, do not have any celebrity endorser for Chyawanprash products, at present.
Earlier, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan and cricketer Sourav Ganguly had endorsed Emami’s Chyawanprash. But, the company did not use any celebrity to endorse this product range this fiscal, so far.

Madhuri Dixit will be seen endorsing the brand in all campaigns across television, print and digital. A new television commercial and print campaign featuring Madhuri Dixit would be launched soon, the company said in a statement.
“Madhuri Dixit exemplifies the modern day Indian mother who successfully balances her professional and family life. This makes her a perfect choice as the brand ambassador for Dabur Chywanprash,” Dabur India Marketing Head (Health Supplements) Rajeev John said.
