MIAL to host Routes conference

Event likely to attract representatives of 90 airlines, 210 airports

Top executives of airlines and airports around the world will converge at Mumbai to discuss marketing and route development strategies at the Routes Asia event. The event which will attract representatives of 90 airlines and 210 airports is being hosted by the Mumbai International Airport Limited. Civil aviation minister Ajit Singh is expected to inaugurate the event.

David Stroud, Executive Vice President Routes is looking forward to the event: “It is an interesting time for aviation in Asia. Overall this market of four billion people is growing very fast, but the situation is also very different from country to country. It is certainly timely for Routes Asia to return to India, a market on which airlines from all over the world have set their eyes and are looking for ways to expand.”

The event is being held in Mumbai from March 17-19.
