Multiples PE buys stake in Cholamandalam

Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd on Monday informed the exchange that Multiples Private Equity has acquired five per cent of the total equity share of the company through preferential allotment on March 16, 2012. Multiples Private Equity FII I has acquired 4,813,718 equity shares of the company, which is around 3.63 per cent of the total equity share while Multiples Private Equity Fund acquired 1,814,009 shares, which is 1.37 per cent of the total equity shares.
