N Ram Made Editor-In-Chief Of The Hindu

The board of the Rs 400 crore Chennai-based Kasturi and Sons Ltd, publishers of The Hindu, today decided to appoint N Ram as the editor-in-chief of The Hindu.

This effectively puts N Ram in complete editorial control of all publications from Kasturi & Sons.

N Ram was the executive editor of The Hindu earlier and had given up his position when the Bofors issue cropped up.

Talking to Business Standard, N Ram confirmed that the board had created a new position of editor-in-chief in The Hindu.
