Newgen opens development facility

Software engineering services provider Newgen Software Ltd has expanded its Chennai development facilities by moving its development centre here into a new facility at the Sipcot IT Park.

The new facility has a seating capacity for 300 people, and Newgen will beef up capacity at the 4-acre campus to 2,000 people in the next few years.

As the company expands in new markets, the new facility in Chennai will play a significant role in meeting the growing demands of customers offshoring needs.

The new facility will also provide impetus to Newgen's offshore software product development model, with increased flexibility and support for clients' needs, a company release stated.
