P Senthil Kumar is Tata Steel's new chief HR officer

Tata Steel today said it has appointed P Senthil Kumar as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.

Kumar will operate from Jamshedpur and report to Tata Steel Managing Director HM Nerurkar, the company said in a statement here.

Before joining Tata Steel, Kumar was Director (HR & Administration) at Cairn Energy India.

He has a BTech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Trichy and a PG Diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur, the statement added.
