Polad Group brings Oz wellness brand to India

Logistics and outsourcing firm Polad Group has brought Austrian wellness brand, HYPOXI Studios, to India and aims to establish about 20 studios in the first year of operations in the country.

"To test the results of HYPOXI in the local market we had set up a pilot studio in September last year. After its success we have opened our first Studio in Mumbai and aim to establish about 20 HYPOXI Studios in the country in the first year of operations," Polad Group promoter Ashok Vithiani told PTI here.

Polad Group, which has a turnover of about Rs 450 crore, has exclusive distribution rights of HYPOXI brand in India.

The company, he said, is in the final stage of negotiations for HYPOXI Studios in Chandigarh, Pune, Bangalore and Navi Mumbai.

"Initially, our main focus will be to establish HYPOXI Studios in metros as well as big cities in the country. Later we may venture into Tier II and III cities depending on the demand," he added.

The company is looking only at franchise model for distribution of the HYPOXI brand in the country.

"We are looking solely at franchise distribution model. However, we have set up a audit system in place to keep a check on the overall quality maintenance, hygiene and quality of the HYPOXI Studios," he added.

Excluding the premise, it will cost around Rs 1.5 crore to set up a studio with HYPOXI Studios its training equipments, he said.

The world of HYPOXI spreads over 40 countries across five continents with over 2,000 studios and 4,00,000 annual clients.

Headquartered at Salzburg, Austria, HYPOXI offers specialised body shaping, cellulite and weight loss treatments utilising the latest technology from specifically developed body-shaping equipments.

At Rs 36,000 for 12 sessions spread across one month, HYPOXI-Method is considered to be the most efficient method of targeted fat reduction different from the existing weight loss services available in the market, he added.
