Prasar Bharati To Switch To Commercial Books

As part of its efforts to become an independent entity, Prasar Bharati Corporation will switch to commercial accounting norms from the next financial year.

The tax exemption offered to the corporation has been removed by finance minister Yashwant Sinha in his budget presented yesterday.
