Ramee Group eyes Surat, Vadodara for 5-star properties

The Ramee Group of hotels, which operates the hotel chain in Middle East and India, is looking to expand its five star properties in tier - II cities like Baroda and Surat in Gujarat, a company official said.
"After Mumbai, we are looking forward to expand five star properties in Tier II cities like Pune, Baroda, Surat, Nashik, Nagpur in the next four to five years. This could be a mix of management contracts, JV and ownership in Tier II cities. We have invested over Rs 100 crore plus in this property," said Sudhanshu Singh, director, Ramee Group while announcing its expansion in Pune.
The Ramee Group has marked its entry in the Pune hospitality industry with an investment of Rs 100 crore. The group has launched ‘Ramee Grand’ its first 5-star boutique property, at Apte Road in Shivaji Nagar area. The property includes three restaurants, 88 rooms, four food & beverage outlets and banqueting facilities and it is divided into eight floors.
Ramee Group currently has 33 properties around the Middle-East and pan India and has major expansion plans for the near future, especially in tier-II cities. The group is currently undertaking the entire development of Ramee Grand.
