After roping in three state-owned road transport corporations, redBus.in an online bus ticketing company has now announced partnership with Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) to offer its services.

Following this, passengers can now book tickets for KSRTC buses using redBus ticketing platform. redBus already has partnerships with the state-owned road transport corporations of Rajasthan, Goa and Bihar.

KSRTC is one of the largest government-owned state road transport corporation in India which covers almost every route in Karnataka. It also runs bus services to neighbouring cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi and Tirupathi.

“We are excited with this partnership because now redBus.in has complete access across both state-owned and private buses of Karnataka. This means we offer most choices to our customers,” said Phanindra Sama, CEO of Pilani Soft Labs, the company that owns the redBus platform.

Established in 2006 by three BITS Pilani graduates, Pilani Soft Labs offers three different products including BOSS, a cloud-based ERP software for bus operators and SeatSeller, an inventory distribution platform for agents. Seedfund, Inventus Capital and Helion Venture Partners are some of the investors in the Bangalore-based company.
