Reliance increases Jamnagar capacity

| Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has increased the capacity of its Jamnagar refinery to 33 million tonne from 30 million tonne. |
| The capacity of the refinery was increased after its crude distillation unit was revamped last month, P Raghavendran, president of RIL's refining business, told newsmen on the sidelines of an oil and gas conference here today. |
| "RIL sells some 13.1 million tonnes of its products to state retailing companies. The company will export 5.5 million tonnes of diesel and 3 million tonnes of gasoline in 2003-04," Raghavendran said. |
| Last year, the company had exported 4.5 million tonnes of diesel and three million tonnes of gasoline. |
