Sachin inaugurates Sourav's

Sachin Tendulkar shared a few tricks of the trade with Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly while inaugurating the latter's restaurant "" 'Sourav's, The Food Pavilion' ""here today.

Cutting the ceremonial ribbon, Tendulkar, who owns two restaurants in Mumbai, launched Ganguly's first venture into the food business.

The launch, earlier scheduled during the Durga Puja, witnessed a star-studded assembly with members of the Indian team at hand for the function. Also present were Pakistan skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq, his wife and child , and Abdur Razzak.

Ganguly had a lavish multi-cuisine spread "" Mughlai, Continental, Chinese and Bengali "" laid out for the over 250 guests comprising the city's glitterati, his friends and relatives.

The gourmet session was not without the usual rush for autographs by zealous young fans, who capitalised on the brief opportunity of being close to their heroes.

The city's first four-storeyed multiplex restaurant, 'Sourav's' has been designed by the renowned Mumbai-based architect Kapil Bhalla and was completed in five months.
