Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.
Godrej Industries has presence in chemicals, estate management (real estate), finance & investments.
On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL), the city gas joint venture of Adani Group and French giant TotalEnergies, has cut prices of CNG and natural gas piped to household kitchens for cooking across multiple markets, delivering direct relief to them and motorists.
CNG and domestic piped natural gas prices have been cut by up to Rs 4, the company said.
The reduction follows the landmark tariff reform by the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), which has streamlined gas transportation charges and lowered input costs for city gas distributors.
ATGL said the price reduction varies by geography, depending on transportation zones. In Gujarat and adjoining Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra areas, CNG is now cheaper by Rs 0.50 to Rs 1.90 per kg while domestic PNG is down by up to Rs 1.10 per standard cubic metre.
In Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana-NCR, northern Madhya Pradesh and bordering Uttar Pradesh, CNG price has been reduced by Rs 1.40 to Rs 2.55 per kg while domestic PNG is cheaper by Rs 1.1

in total sales at 3,69,809 units in December 2025 as compared to 3,23,125 units in the same month of 2024.
Total domestic sales were at 1,69,373 units last month as against 1,62,420 units in the year-ago period, up 4 per cent, Bajaj Auto Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
Two-wheeler sales in the domestic market were at 1,32,228 units as against 1,28,335 units in December 2024, a growth of 3 per cent.
Exports of two-wheelers were up 24 per cent at 1,78,125 units last month as compared to 1,43,838 units in the same month a year ago.
Total commercial vehicle sales in December 2025 stood at 59,456 units as compared to 50,952 units in the year-ago month, up 17 per cent.
Commercial vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 37,145 units as against 34,085 units in December 2024, while exports were higher by 32 per cent at 22,311 units as against 16,867 units, the company said.

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Friday said it has clocked a record annual production of 22.55 lakh units in calendar year 2025, a growth of 9.3 per cent over the previous year.
This is the second consecutive year that the company has exceeded 20 lakh units in annual production. The production includes vehicles for domestic sales, exports and OEM supplies, Maruti Suzuki India said in a statement.
The company had produced 20.63 units in 2024.
Maruti Suzuki India Managing Director and CEO Hisashi Takeuchi attributed the record production to the efforts of the company's employees and the strong synergy that it shares with supplier partners.
"A high degree of localisation has enabled us to achieve such scale while maintaining world-class quality, highlighting the strength and global competitiveness of India's automotive manufacturing ecosystem," he noted.
Maruti Suzuki said its top five models by production volume during the year were Fronx, Baleno, Swift, Dzire and Ertiga.
