Tata Motors' global sales up 6% in June
On the back of a 39% rise in sales of its luxury Jaguar Land Rover vehicles

Tata Motors today said its global sales increased 6% in June to 94,055 units over the same period last year.
Sales of luxury brands from Jaguar Land Rover were at 28,215 units in June, up 39% from the same month last year, Tata Motors said in a statement.
While sales of luxury sedans of Jaguar brand decreased by 5% last month at 3,829 units, Land Rover sales were up 49% at 24,386 units, it added.
The company said total passenger vehicles sales stood at 46,159 units in June, 2012, a jump of 7% from the same month last year.
Commercial vehicle sales were up by 6% to 47,896 units from the same month last year, it added.
The Tata Motors group's global sales comprise Tata, Tata Daewoo and Hispano Carrocera range of commercial vehicles, Tata passenger vehicles, along with the distributed brands in India, Jaguar and Land Rover.
