Titan Q3 net rises 21% to Rs 2.8 bn; total income up 7%

Tata group firm Titan Company reported on Thursday a 21.26 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 2.81 billion for the third quarter ended December 31, 2017.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 2.32 billion in the same period last fiscal.
Total income during the quarter under review stood at Rs 42.96 billion. It had reported a total income of Rs 40 billion in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.
Shares of Titan ended at Rs 831.30 a piece, down 4.34 per cent, from the previous close on the BSE.
