Venkys to undertake Rs 107 cr expansion plan

Venkys India Ltd, a leading producer of poultry products in the country, has decided to undertake expansion-cum-modernisation programme at an estimated cost of Rs 107 crore to augment poultry, poultry produce and animal health products' capacities.
It also plans to augment capacities in modernisation in oilseed segment and for setting up of Venky's Xprs' outlet.
Venky's (India) Ltd, which is a member of Venkateshwara Hatcheries Group (VH Group) established in 1971, has informed the BSE.
The expansion-cum-modernisation programme will be funded by internal accruals and long term loans, it told the BSE.
