With a subscriber base of 4.2 million, Vodafone has a market share of 16% in the state and penetration access to 74% of the population.

Vodafone has over 67 million data subscribers across the country with its data traffic recording year-on-year growth of 69%. Mobile data is presently contributing 20.3% to its service revenue.
"We have around 200 million mobile subscribers and two million of them are using 4G services. Our 4G services are available in nine states", Chopra said.
For Vodafone, Odisha is a fast growing and evolving market. It has a sizeable retail footprint with 215 Vodafone branded stores.
"We have already invested Rs 2000 crore in Odisha. As a committed telecom service provider, we have a lot to look forward to enhancing customer experience. Beginning with Bhubaneswar, we will soon expand our SuperNet services across the entire state in a phased manner", said Deepak Saluja, business head (Odisha), Vodafone India.
