Voltas Q2 net profit up 3%
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 41.87 crore in the corresponding period last year
Tata group firm Voltas today reported 2.53% increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 42.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 41.87 crore in the corresponding period last year, Voltas said in a filing to the BSE.
The consolidated net income of the company during the second quarter also went up by 5.40% to Rs 1,164.49 crore from Rs 1,104.85 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
Shares of Voltas today closed 1.12% up at Rs 117.20 apiece on the BSE.
