Senior BJP leader L K Advani's decision to quit all important party positions was "unfortunate", former BJP chief Nitin Gadkari said here.
Gadkari, who arrived here this evening from Goa after attending BJP's national executive meeting, said Advani's contribution to BJP, from the Jan Sangh days, was great, and his active involvement was needed both for BJP and the country.
