On the second day of the Parliament Monsoon Session, the Congress-led opposition has given an adjournment notice in the Lok Sabha over the Arunachal Pradesh issue.

Senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said the party has already given the notice and now would request the speaker to take the subject.

"Today, we are concerned only with Arunachal Pradesh issue, we will talk about Kashmir later on," he added.

The first day of the Session saw members discuss about the Kashmir violence that erupted after the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani.

It also witnessed opposition attempt to corner the government over the Kashmir unrest.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh blamed Pakistan for fuelling the agitation and said they don't have to worry about Muslims living in India. He told the House that orders were passed to security forces to exercise maximum restraint while dealing with protesters.

However, the BJP-led government is hoping to get the GST Bill passed in the Parliament before the end of this session.
