Indian-American gets 2-yr jail for fraud

An Indian-American, with two others from Alabama, has been sentenced in an identity theft and tax fraud scheme, the US Justice Department has said. While Narendra Kumar Patel was sentenced to 24 months in prison, the two other co-conspirators, Mary Bennett and Eugenia Burks, have been sentenced to 75 and 18 months, respectively.
