Mafia don Dawood's sister dies of heart attack in Mumbai hospital

Haseena Parkar's body has been shifted to her residence in South Mumbai for final rites

Fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's sister, Haseena Parkar, has died in a private hospital in South Mumbai of a heart attack.

Mumbai Police said Parkar, 55, died Sunday afternoon at the Habib Hospital in Dongri.

Her body has been shifted to her residence in South Mumbai for final rites, the police added.

Police said that Parkar had forayed into the underworld after her husband Ismail Parkar was reportedly shot dead by the Arun Gawali gang in 1991. They said that she also had some extortion cases registered against her.
