Mumbai rains: 'We'll be there for you', police posts FRIENDS-inspired tweet

Over the past few days, the heavy downpour in Mumbai has affected the life of Mumbaikars severely. The incessant rainfall has caused waterlogging on streets, disrupted train and flight services. Amid all these, the Mumbai Police has taken laudable measures to reduce people's sufferings by performing their duties, surpassing all the hurdles. 

In its latest step,  the Mumbai Police has now opted for creative measures to assure people that they are there for them, 'always'. The Mumbai Police has used the popular American TV Series F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme song to spread their message for Mumbaikars.  


The Mumbai police tweeted, "Right here. For you Mumbai. Always. #MumbaiFirst", says @MumbaiPolice twitter handle. The tweet is accompanied with a GIF in which police personnel doing their duty during the rains with a GIF caption of F.R.I.E.N.D.S theme song's lyrics "We'll be there for you when the rain starts to pour."

The post has received over "1,000 likes" and 200 plus retweets.  Besides, the post has received a lot of positive replies not just from the people of Mumbai but also people from other parts of the country.
