Sebi staff contributes Rs 11 lakh to PM's relief fund

Market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India's (Sebi's) workforce has contributed about Rs 11 lakh to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to aid the relief efforts in flood affected areas in Uttarakand.
“The recent flood in Uttarakhand has severally affected the life and livelihood of lakhs of people in the flood affected areas. The aftermath situation is very severe which requires enormous relief work. As a way of contribution to the relief effort for the victims of flood affected areas in Uttarakhand, staff members of Sebi have made a contribution of Rs. 10,98,790 towards Prime Minister's National Relief Fund,” the regulator said in a release.
