UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday inaugurated the Haj House here, which according to him will be a multipurpose building that will include a centre for coaching girls aspiring for the civil services.
"I am fortunate to inaugurate such a fantastic government building ever built by the government agencies. We are laying foundation to educate the next generation of girls here in this building in addition to use it as the transit camp for Haj pilgrimages" he said.
The building will be used for pilgrims for one-two months in a year. For the rest of the year, the building will be used as a coaching centre.
Built at a cost of Rs 50 crore, the building also has residential facilities for 250 persons.
