53.06 lakh MT of record wheat arrives in Haryana

Out of this, 52.28 lakh MT have been purchased by six government procuring agencies, an official spokesman said here today.    

He said that HAFED had procured 19.30 lakh MT, Food and Supplies Department had procured 10.82 lakh MT of wheat, Food Corporation of India 7.84 lakh MT, Haryana Warehousing Corporation 4.87 lakh MT, Confed 4.81 lakh MT and Haryana Agro Industries Corporation 4.62 lakh MT while the traders had procured only 77923 MT.    

 

He said that Sirsa district has surpassed Karnal district with the arrival of 7.81 lakh MT whereas Karnal reported arrival of 6.03 lakh MT of wheat so far in the State.    

Similarly, Fatehabad 5.89 lakh MT, Jind 5.51 lakh MT, Kaithal 5.50 lakh MT, Kurukshetra 4.63 lakh MT, Hisar 3.50 lakh MT, Faridabad 2.77 lakh MT, Panipat 2.25 lakh MT, Sonipat 2.05 lakh MT, Ambala 1.63 lakh MT, Rohtak 1.08 lakh MT and Panchkula 19,632 MT of wheat.
