Airtel Reduces Tariffs, Launches New Plans

BUSINESS STANDARD

AirTel today slashed airtime tariffs for its post-paid cellular subscribers in Delhi by 15-38 per cent, close on the heels of Hutch launching a single tariff plan last month.

AirTel has also revamped its tariff packages by introducing three new plans replacing the existing seven. All AirTel subscribers will be migrated to a package comparable to their existing package.

The new plans will become effective from July 13. Sarvjit Dhillon, chief executive officer, AirTel, Delhi, said:
