E10mn From Germany For Arsenic Free Water

The Germans have earmarked Euro 10 million for partnering with the Indian government in initiating a project that will allow setting up of water treatments plants for supplying arsenic free water to population and industrial pockets suffering from the problem.
The fund will be provided by the German government as well as the private sector. Germans lenders have entered into talks with the central as well as the West Bengal state government for co-financing the project.
