Fall in line or face severe action: Naidu warns rebels

Stung by the growing dissidence and rebellion in the party, TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday warned the rebels to fall in line or face severe action as the candidate selection process was focused more on providing social justice to deprived sections.
"We had to accommodate certain sections to provide social justice and some sacrifices had to be made in the larger interest of the party," Naidu told reporters at his Jubilee Hills residence here.
Cracking the whip on rebels, Naidu said, "They have to fall in line in a couple of days and the party will take a very serious note of such indiscipline."
Asserting that some strong aspirants were denied tickets due to various reasons, Naidu said, their services will be utilised for party work and asked all disgruntled elements to fall in line for a 'better tomorrow'. On social justice, Naidu said that the TDP had given 50 seats to women.
