Gujarat: BJP leading in 6 seats
BJP is leading in six seats, Congress in four and MahaGujarat Janta Party (MJP) in one after the first round of counting in 11 of the 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat.
The BJP is leading in Gandhinagar, where party leader L K Advani is in the fray, Rajkot, Kheda, Vadodara, Panchmahals and Ahmedabad west.
The Congress is ahead in Jamnagar, Mehasana, Junagadh and Sabarkantha, while MJP President Gordhan Zadafia is leading in Bhavnagar seat.
Congress leader and Union Minister Shankarsinh Vaghela is trailing in Panchmahals seat.
