Investors' meet at Belgaum

Belgaum will host the investors' meet on March 8. The meet is expected to give an impetus to industrial development in sectors like automobile, textile, agro, food processing, information technology and ITeS.

Karnataka industries minister Katta Subrahmanya Naidu will inaugurate the meet. The minister will also hold a discussion with investors.

Regional development commissioner Amita Prasad will deliberate on the potential for industrial development in the region. A technical session will be organised on the occasion.

Managing director of Ghatage Patil Group Kiran Patil will speak on opportunities in the automobile sector.

Tourism commissioner J Kumar Nayak will speak on tourism potential, M Ravindra on agriculture and food processing areas, IT services additional MD M Srinivas on the scope of IT and ITeS and Powerloom Corporation managing director T Halaswamy will speak on textiles.
