Karnataka to sign MoU with Bavarian govt

| The Karnataka government will shortly sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bavarian provincial government of Germany to promote trade and industry in the state. |
| Announcing this at a press meet here on Monday, deputy chief minister B S Yediyurappa, who is just back from a five-day visit to Germany said, a Bavarian trade delegation will visit the state next month to work out the details of the MoU. |
| "We are looking for German investment in small and medium enterprises, engineering, IT, BT and tourism. The response from Bavaria is encouraging," he added. |
| The deputy chief minister met representatives of Audi and Eurocopter. "Eurocopter already has an understanding with Bangalore-based HAL. We are told that Audi is planning an assembly plant in India. We have made various offers to Audi to set up the plant in Karnataka," he added. |
| Yediyurappa attended the Hannover Trade Fair in Germany. |
