Major bureaucratic reshuffle in state

E-Governance Secretary M N Vidyashankar was today given additional charge of Information Technology, Science & Technology and Biotechnology, in a bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Karnataka Government. Information Technology, Science & Technology and Biotechnology Secretary Ashok Kumar C Manoli was transferred to the Revenue Department.

Vidyashankar has served in the post before, an official press release said. A K Monnappa, Commissioner for Cane Development & Director of Sugar, Bangalore, was transferred and N Sriraman, Managing Director, Mysore Minerals Limited, Bangalore, was given the additional charge.

S N Jayaram, Inspector General of Registration & Commissioner of Stamps, Bangalore, was transferred and posted as Regional Commissioner, Bangalore Division, in the existing vacancy. He was replaced by B Shivappa, waiting for posting, in the downgraded ex-cadre post by keeping the cadre post in abeyance.

 

Anurag Tewari, Senior Assistant Commissioner, Madhugiri Sub-Division, was transferred and his services were placed at the disposal of Urban Development Department for being posted as Commissioner, Tumkur City.
