MMTC floats EoI for gold medallion

India's largest foreign trade enterprise MMTC has floated an Expression of Interest (EOI) for manufacture of gold medallion with foreign companies, banks & financial institutions.

The project will also have a refinery. Two to three foreign institutions have already been shortlisted for the purpose.

A joint venture for retail along similar lines is also on the cards.
