Seemandhra bandh brings Vizag to a standstill

The small and medium industries in and around the city observed bandh to express their solidarity for the united state

The bandh call given by the Samaikhyandhra joint action committee (JAC) brought Visakhapatnam city to a standstill as it saw closure of all essential services and establishments including schools, shops, hotels, cinema theatres and fuel stations.

There was no industrial activity witnessed in Autonagar, Kancharapalam industrial estate. The small and medium industries in and around the city observed bandh to express their solidarity for the united state.

Meanwhile, students of the Andhra university and AP NGOs today conducted rallies at important junctions here. The Samaikhyandhra JAC called for a two-day bandh, today and tomorrow.

Its leaders have decided to conduct a massive rally by farmers at Chodavaram tomorrow.
