Bank of Rajasthan Q2 net at Rs 18 cr

Private sector lender Bank of Rajasthan posted a net profit of Rs 17.80 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.

Total business increased to Rs 24,000 crore in the July-September quarter, up 9.09 per cent from Rs 22,000 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, the bank said in a release.

The bank's advances also increased to Rs 8,038 crore, up 0.68 per cent from Rs 7,983 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.

The deposits rose to Rs 15,997 crore as against Rs 13,995 crore in the same quarter corresponding fiscal, the release added.
