Gtb Unveils Facility For Small Firms

Global Trust Bank (GTB), as part of its new initiatives to expand customer base, on Monday announced the launch of a new current account premium (CAP) scheme for current-account customers. Conceptualised on the theme of cost saving for customers, the scheme offers a range of facilities, a bank release said.

CAP will allow the issue of unlimited number of DDs payable at all locations, where GTB has a branch, without paying any service charge. It also has features like facility of overdraft against fixed deposits, at par cheque facility at all GTB branches at no extra cost, free collection of cheques drawn on upcountry branches and the issue of personalised cheque books.

 

CAP customers can also avail of multi-city withdrawals and deposits through any branch any customer (ABACUS) facility. Customers have to maintain an average quarterly balance of Rs 1 lakh to avail the facility, the bank said. The new scheme is targeted at small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and will also be attractive to wholesalers and distributors, the release stated.
