ICICI Bank bags award for rural marketing

ICICI Bank, the country's largest private sector lender, has bagged the 'Best Rural Marketing Initiative' Award for its unique campaign on rural marketing, Kamdhenu.

The award was received by ICICI Bank's Deputy General Manager (BMAG) Roopesh Kajrolkar at a recently-held function hosted by the Rural Marketing Association of India, a press release said here today.

The Kamdhenu campaign, a unique high-impact marketing and sales campaign through a short-film on the cattle loan, ran for 150-days across five states, touching around 10,000 potential customers with an objective to promote rural marketing, the release added.

A total of 10 awards were distributed in five different categories for marketing campaigns conducted in villages with population below 20,000 and in villages and towns with over 20,000 and 1-lakh population, it said.
