Kotak Mahindra Bank Q2 consolidated net up 13%

Kotak Mahindra Bank today reported a 12.64% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 93.90 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2006 when compared with Rs 83.36 crore in Q2FY06.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income increased 45.91% to Rs 904.49 crore from Rs 619.89 crore in Q2FY06.

The bank, on a stand-alone basis, posted a net profit of Rs 34.79 crore in Q2FY07 as against Rs 31.17 crore in Q2FY06. Total income increased to Rs 357.63 crore from Rs 235.85 crore in Q2FY06.
