Union Bank of India Q3 net up 43%

The Union Bank of India has posted 42.7% rise in net profit for the third quarter ended December 2007 at Rs 365.02 crore when compared with Rs 255.84 crore reported in Q3FY07.

According to release to the BSE today, total income has increased 39.2% to Rs 2,806.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 2,015.46 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
