President of India condoles the passing away of N Ramani

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has condoled the passing away of flute maestro Dr. N. Ramani.

The President said in the death of Dr. Ramani, the nation has lost an artiste of exceptional ability. His sad demise has left a huge void in the field of Carnatic music which will be difficult to fill.
